can you get an UBER CAB in rural southern Ireland? kerry,waterford , ,Munster , Clair ,Wexford, or that area in general

I would love to know if UBER is a reliable transport in RURAL Ireland as of may 2015, if you have taken a UBER in the courtly side please post  here

or any of the cities of cork ,kerry,waterford , ,Munster , Clair ,Wexford, or that area in general

have used  UBER in these parts of Ireland?

Please let me know


I can see from the UBER estimator site that thinks they do , but want to confirm with someone who has done this,

UBER works in Dublin. I have not used it in Cork, Kerry or Waterford...I didn't go to the other towns you mentioned. It seems like UBER would work as long as there are drivers. There are no Postal Codes in Ireland so addresses are tough for your phone....you need to know exactly where you are with regards to street, city and county...

There is limited availability in Dublin and that's about it.

Other towns may come in a few years, but it will be a quite a while before it comes to rural areas.
We should have postcodes sorted out within two years, which may speed things up.

You should negotiate prices in advance with Hackneys.
They are usually cheaper than taxis.
You cannot hail them on the street ... you must phone them or go to a Hackney Companie's base.
