I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

access denied

try this:

Open disk management, right click on the CD/DVD drive and open Properties, click on the Hardware tab, click the properties command button, click on the driver tab, and uninstall the driver.
Then click on the Disk Management Action menu, click on Rescan Disks, see if it solved or not.

if it does't work with you, please provide more details, do you have group policy before which denies such access? is it a shared drive?
