Proofreading Email for Mario Printer Installation
Hello Mario & Adriana,
I checked the printer this morning and it’s a USB printer not a network printer. In order to give printing capability to Hernan and Diana I need to:
1) Create a workgroup between Diana & Hernan computer
2) Download the latest drivers and install them in both computers
3) Share the printer
Due to the fact that this is not a network printer but it will become a shared printer, the computer in which the printer will be installed must be kept always on in order for the two employees to be able to print. The estimate time for this job is one hour. The cost will be $ 80. I can do the printer installation any day of this week. Would you approve this project ?
Thank you,
Max

It depends on your client and their relationship with you.
A print server is more expensive, but much more reliable over the long haul. Inevitably, some will turn off the computer

John, I like how you went beyond the intent of the question and offered some helpful advice! Nice job!

"Hernan" the correct spelling? Should it be "Herman" <--- Hernan is also the first name of one of my clients (no relation to the author here).

John is awesome he has been helping me is all my advetures since a while now and he is always willing to provide alternative solutions. John I will definitely keep the print server solution in mind if the sharing cheap solution fails.
Yes, in this case it's a Latino name and it is spelled Hernan.
John adding a print server to the USB printer, it grabs an IP address and it become like a network printer more or less correct ? so none of the computer must be kept on all the time correct ?
thank you both of you
