Mailmerge to envelopes
hi,
I have a Db which I was able to do a merge on to a word document. It is a list of names and address. the merged document is clearly showing individual envelopes of the page. however, it will not print
first question - when doing a merge for the envelopes, can u merge directly on to the envelopes when printing, or do you always do a merged document showing the envelopes and then print those.
second - if the merged document is the correct first step, why would my printer not be responding to the print command. I see the command in the driver, then it seems to be sent to the printer, but no response at the printer.
I can print them to that printer having it print on just regular paper.
any ideas?

that is funny...
there were three other workstations i tried it on. in each we could print a document, but the system was not responding to the print command from the letter .

Can this be tried on a printer of a different type?
It might help to try an updated printer driver

Thanks guys
the answer was that although the proper size was listed on the face of the driver. the advanced option of the driver needed to hear that there was not letter size papper in the draw. seems whachy but that is what made it work...
thanks to all.
