asked on

a good printer to do greetings cards

I have been using an Epson workforce 320 printer and also an Epson Artisan 810 printer.  With both printers there are vertical lines in the cards.  I have done head cleaning, nozzle cleaning etc on a frequent basis and I still get these black vertical lines on the face of the greetings cards.  Based on your experience what would be a good ink jet printer to avoid this particular problem?
thanks,

I should add that I do labels (heavy), cheques (moderately heavy) and regular paper. All that works just fine.

I have not done card stock.

Thanks John.  Much appreciated.  Will this printer do colour?  The greetings cards that we print require colour.

The HP8610 (86xx) produces wonderful colours. I use colour all the time. It has 3 colour ink jet cartridges and one double size black.
Thanks John.  Much appreciated.
