exchange 2010 Scritps for trending stats

Would anyone know of any good scripts or a good way to get trending information of your exchange environment. For example information of how an email store has grown from Monday-Friday, or the email usage for a user.

I currently have some good scripts i do run, but it only takes a snapshot of the current system, with nothing to compare, unless i go back to my previous script outputs.

thanks!!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You're half way there.
There are multiple way to do so

##########################################

to continue what you left, once you take the snapshot, you need to import the value into SQL database
then from there, you can run SQL report and provide such reports.  (which cost moeny for the SQL server)

OR

to continue what you left, once you take the snapshot, write the output into TEXT file
each week, you run another script to read all the TEXT file and run reports.

OR

you can use SCOM (which cost money)

OR
use a 3rd party software like Messagestats (which also cost money)

great thank you, we are currently going to implement solarwinds soon, but the way this company works, its going to be another 2-3 months before its up lol.  So i'll need an interim way of getting a good solution of showing some trending information on our system.

Thank you for the options!!
