I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Not sure if it works in more recent versions of Lotus or Access.
Sorry for the "Link" answer, ...but I don't have lotus notes installed to verify.

Oh, it'll probably work, Notes R8 is compatible with R4, and so will several others (Google says 2790):

I prefer the Lotus.NotesSession object (COM) over the Notes.NotesSession object (OLE), but if you want to open and show the mail in Notes you need OLE (afaik).
