The search/find in Crystal only moves to the record and highlights the value. &nbsp; It doesn't do any filtering or show only the selected records.<br />

TO do what you want you would need to add a parameter and set it to the value you want then refresh the report.<br />

You can export the complete report to pdf/excel and then by using search functionality you can reach your required data quickly.

I have a report that is completed, however there are thousands of clients records or data. So I need to be able to perform a search from the (find function, binoculars) while in main mode. this search should only return the 1 client's info to review at a time? Is this possible?

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information. Report designers can place fields from these sources on the report design surface, and can also deploy them in custom formulas (using either BASIC or Crystal's own syntax), which are then placed on the design surface. Crystal Reports also supports subreports, graphing, and a limited amount of GIS functionality.
