google stories from google plus

im new to google + pictures etc.  any google plus experts out here?  I see that my uploaded photos are automatically made into a cool story on google plus.  when you share the story, the share gets to see the info of each photo (ie taken when, where and with what etc).  any way to hide or get rid of that added info in the story shared without having to alter each pictures data individually?  thanks

What your seeing is probably geo tagging, when you look at your own photos this meta data is shown, try another computer
Since you’re worried about pictures you’ve already uploaded, you might consider trying to remove them or at least try to change the privacy settings and  limit who has access to these photos.
Choose how you share information on your Google+ profile

The next step would be to disable the geotagging feature of your camera (on the iPhone open Settings and go to “General->Location Services” and turn the Camera toggle off) so that no more GPS data will be tagged on the pics.

Try EXIF Stripper app on google play do only one photo at a time

Google is really the control room that stores al your data
all eggs in one basket and personally I wont use it other than having an account, I disabled the association with youtube, for this reason. Our privacy is gone now between Facebook twitter youtube Google Plus.

I must be blind ;-(.  I don't see how to hide the photo details.  I only see "don't allow download" etc.

Show or hide location for albums already uploaded to Google+ (Computer only)
Even if you have the "Show geo location by default on newly shared albums" setting turned on (see above), you can still choose to hide the location for an album.

If you choose to hide the location data for one of your albums (following the instructions below), people who view that album will not be able to see the location information for the photos in that album.

Open Google+ on a computer.
Place your cursor over the Google+ Home menu near the top left corner > click Photos.
At the top of the page, click More > Albums > the album you want to update.
Click the drop-down arrow at the top right > Sharing options.
To show that album's location, check the box next to Show location data. Remember, the people who view that album will also be able to see the location.
To hide that album's location, uncheck the box next to Show location data.

I forgot to ask if you're trying to do this from your phone or computer. The above is from a computer browser.

It does not look like you can configure this from your google+ mobile phone app.

thanks for trying.  no matter what I find I cant get rid of photo info.  once photos are uploaded from my phone and google makes a google story out of them, the photo data is still visible just by clicking edit and photo details on any of the photos.  im not looking to remove exif data, just make it not visible to people these photos and stories are shared with.  guess it cant be done :-(
