Outlook cannot connect to mailbox

Environment: SBS 2003 Exchange 2003 -All SP installed
When setting a new PC for a user outlook 2007 responds:
"The name cannot be matched to a name on the address list"
although the user can receive and send email via his cell phone and Outlook Web access
In OWA he can see all his emails but the contacts do not show up
He does show up in AD and Exchange system manager as he should
I need to at least get to open and extract a pst file out of it

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Does this happen for any other users? Have you tried this on another computer? Created a new Outlook profile? Used non-cached mode for Outlook? Start Outlook in safemode (outlook.exe /safe)?

Find the mailbox and open the properties and make sure that "Hide from address book" is unchecked. When the mailbox is hidden from the GAL the user will still be able to send and receive mail. Other users will not be able to look this person up in the GAL.
