"TE" Symbol used in switch interface/port TE 1/1/1

I'm working on a visio diagram for a network and saw the designation TE 1/1/1.
What does TE 1/1/1 mean?

TE = TenGigabitEthernet

At brocade switch
sw0(config)# interface TenGigabitEthernet 25/0/1-10,17-21,24
sw0(conf-if-te-25/0/1-10,17-21,24)#

Cisco
