SharePoint MasterPage content is showing under the footer

Hi Experts,

I created a SharePoint Masterpage.. it is published and approved, but all my content shows under the footer. I basically know that I need a content placeholder in between the header and the footer, but I don't know where to find it so I can add it to the html file.

Help please!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,
it depends on how you have created the master page.
Which SharePoint version and edition?
If 2013 - did you use the design manager?

Here a useful resource in regards to SharePoint 2013 master pages (including downloads for minimal master pages as .master and .html)

I had the content placeholder in the wrong place.. so this one is resolved. Many issues so far. Yes, using Design Manager but not with the results I had hoped for.
