Need to run a win7 vm on server 2012

Whats the best way for me to do this? I'm used to running ESXI environments but this one is simply a single win7 vm. I've never run into this before.

Is there additional cost associated with this? Or do you have the ability to have a single VM without additional lics?
If you have a license for Windows 2012, you will have the ability to create VMs, using Hyper-V.

As for VMs, you will needed licenses, but Windows 2012 Standard, does entitled you to create two virtual instances of Windows 2012 standard.

You will need to obtain licenses for WIndows 7.
New I would need a win7 lic, was just unsure of hyper-v. Never really used it before. Thanks for the assistance.
Just make sure your server doesn't do anything other than Hyper-V. For example, if it is a DC, never add the HYper-V role on it. The same applies if it is a file-server, exchange server or SQL server etc. The same as ESXi server is a dedicated server, so should the Hyper-V server be dedicated.
