Excel VBA under the Menu "Debug" you see Compile VBAProject. what is this for?

I am a Excel VBA learner.  when i open VBA project with ALT F11.  then under Debug menu, i have something called COMPILE VBA PROJECT.  i would like to know, what is this and what is this used for and for what reason, someone would use this tool?

It will tell you if there are syntax error in your code.

... which are not shown immediately while typing, like non-existing subs/functions, undefined vars while having declaration mandatory (which is an option), and so on.
If you do not compile manually, it will happen automatically as soon as code is triggered to execute, and then might fail because of that. So better to do manually while still in the VBA editor ...

Compiling converts the code written in the VBE into code that can be read by Windows.
If you don't do it then it is automatically done when the code is run.
If the code won't compile then it won't run
