How can I open another user's email inbox, and view his folder list (which includes subfolders, etc.) on my email client?

Here is a screenshot of my email client which show all his emails (in the red rectangle), after I added his mailbox to my email client. What you see on the left navigation pane shows my folder list. I want to be able to open up his inbox so that I can see his folder list as well. This is for the purpose of troubleshooting because I do not have the leisure of doing a remote session with him all the time as he is a very busy guy. My email client is version 2013, while his is Outlook 2007.

If you are server admin ran the below command on Exchange server

Add-MailboxPermission -Identity "Resource  mailbox name" -User "user name" -AccessRights FullAccess -InheritanceType all

Once you ran the above command you got the full mailbox permission to whom you want to access mailbox and autometicaly user mailbox added in your inbox.

I doubt that it would be added automatically.

You would need to add the Mailbox to your Outlook profile.
