Outlook Search Options

Good Morning,

I've got a customer who has a search option missing and for the life of me, can't find the answer by Google search.

On my Outlook, in the search bar, there is a drop down item asking which folder or mailbox I want to search in. However I am using Office 2013.

However he's using Outlook 2010 Standard and I can't see that option anywhere. Indexing options are all ok. I'm just wondering if it's down to the version?

Kind Regards,

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I believe it is a version thing. You CAN search all folders but just can't define it on each search (don't have office 2010 right now .. but from memory)

In Outlook 2010 you have these options on the left side of the Ribbon (Search tab, Scope group). Just look at your second screenshot: all options are there.
