JTable - RowFilter & Columns Header.

Hi,
I was using in dBASE a grid Activex that was offering me number of features that I am trying to reproduce with JTable.
Is there a way to have this behavior on JTable:
- User clicks on a column and a text Field is display where he can enter a key word,
- Just after, the grid is filtered based on his input
- This can be done on multiple columns at the same time

Is there a way to apply  a skin to the columns headers (shape)?

I am willing to go even for a customized JTable component offering this (paid or free).

Best regards.
