"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In Windows 7, the requirement to be able to do spanned RDP was Windows 7 Enterprise or Windows 7 Ultimate. I believe in Windows 8 that requirement has been extended to Windows 8 Professional but not the Windows 8 home version (Not called Home Premium anymore I guess).

What version are you running?

http://www.experts-exchange.com/Q_28262522.html#a39559701 tells that the option is /multimon, works with W8 Pro or above ("Windows 8" is like "Windows 7 Home"), but also requires the monitors to have the same resolution.
