CRM Email Router with CRM Online 2015 and Exchange 2007

Hi Guys,
I cannot get the the Email router to configure.

We have CRM Online 2015 and Exc 2007 and email router 2015.

Please can someone help me set it up.

I have just deleted my current email router config as nothing  works. I have not set any on CRM Server.

This is my first deployment of CRM, so please treat as a complete noob, that has done no config at all, in terms of user email mailboxes/email router ect

None that include use of the Email Router or Server-side synchronization (but this doesn't support Exchange 2007 either and also won't work between CRM Online and Exchange On-Premise).

If you install the CRM add-in for Outlook on your users' PCs you can set the mailbox record (in CRM) for each user to Dynamics CRM for Outlook for outgoing (and incoming) emails from CRM.

Using a server method such as the Email Router is better for central management, required if you want to track incoming emails for queues. Are you able to upgrade to Exchange 2010 or later?
