Configure SMTP connection for my Exchange 2010 server
Hello,
I know this should be super simple but how do I configure an SMTP connection to use with my internal Exchange 2010 server?
I have an App that requires SMTP.domain.com only.
Is it a situation where I need a public DNS called smtp.domain.com or is this something I need to do in Exchange?

Alrighty, all set! Internal DNS entry (smtp.domain.com) as well as a Public DNS entry with smtp.domain.com pointing to my Public IP.
Did the trick! Didn't even need to alter Exchange in any way which is even better. Thanks for the advice.

The App is still not working so am going to create a public dns name with my ISP and see if that helps.
