Julian Date conversion in excel

I have 7 digit Julian dates (2500+ dates) in a spread sheet, like these, 2454525 and 2454662 I need a to convert them to Month/day/year format.

There are different forms of Julian Day Number (JDN) dates. The most common and accepted standard form is an integer number of days since January 1, 4713 BCE. To convert this Julian Day Number to an Excel date subtract 2,415,018. An alternate form of the Julian Day Number uses a base of 1 A.D. To convert this Julian Day Number to an Excel date subtract 693,594.

In your examples above, the result of subtracting 2,415,018 is:

  2454525-2415018 = Friday, February 29, 2008
  2454662-2415018 = Tuesday, July 15, 2008
