Cisco Ironport S370

I am studying to obtain Cisco Certification. I am setting up a lab. I am looking for web appliance security from Cisco.
Questions:
1) The web appliance software from cisco will work with any server?
2) if you can look at this website an advice me if this is a suitable product for my training?

Thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I suggest leveraging WSA virtual version (vWSA) and more suited for lab environment in your case for test out - but note that you still need to obtain a license from your Cisco solution provider and without it vWSA will not work. http://www.thesecurityblogger.com/how-to-configure-a-cisco-virtual-web-security-appliance-vwsa-home-lab/

The server you want is 4x overpriced compared to dell original, and pretty worthless without CCO support subscription

compared to cisco wsa (http://www.ironportstore.com/IronPort-S370.asp), of course it can be seen cheaper but likely the licence subscribed differs and do we even know what licence it comes with for the s/w bundle (e.g. isco Web Security Essentials, Cisco Anti-Malware, Cisco Web Security Premium, and McAfee Anti-Malware) which is the core content for wsa.
CISCO Security Appliance software Application loaded, it is running, however, I am out of my depth on this kind of software, I can work on the Server, it has video port at the back which is blank out, I have removed the plate and fired the server, Buyer can buy it as a CSICO Appliance or buy it as Poweredge R710 server.  Buyer beware CISCO Security Appliance aplication software is loaded, but i offer no assistance or ssurance or any guarantee what so ever, I am unable to go any further than Screen with the Login window
not really comfortable
