Exchange delete the email

User had complained that he received only 1 email instead of 2. When we do message tracking, there is 1 email was detected as duplicate on exchange. However the message id was different. Based on attachment, the duplicate cause by message id & client submit time? May i know what does the client submit time mean? It mean time when exchange accept the message? It is possible the application sent 2 emails with different message id with same time?

client submit time is the time when the message is submitted (sent) by the outlook client, and yes it is possible to have 2 emails with different message id in the same time (same time refers to the time when the message is considered submitted) and this usually happens when 2 or more clients are connected (online mode) using the same mailbox at the same time.

It is possible to get the duplicate email in eml format or outlook msg file?
past record cannot be retrieved unless you previously have journalling turn on.
