SBS 2011 exchange

I have migrated the mailboxes from SBS 2011 exchange to office 365 so everything is hosted.

I face issues with the outlook trying to connect to the local exchange.

to get through that I change the local DNS on the machine to public ones .

But I need to get in back to the local DNS so it can access the server as file server.

What is the best way to solve it

disable all exchange services? disable the mailboxes ?

or other ways?

Have you tried creating a new Outlook PROFILE (not just adding a new account).
Most likely the client is using SCP and is resolving the local Exchange server.  Outlook will try through SCP before DNS which is probably why your local DNS entries did not do the trick.

Two options:
Option 1:  Disable SCP on the server by removing the Autodiscover virtual:

NOTE:  I saw a post where someone disabled the MSExchangeAutodiscoverAppPool AppPool in IIS.  Seems to me this would work and is worth trying first since it is easy to revert.

Option 2:  Disable SCP on each computer:
