Contains Function Query in Access 2007

Dear Experts,

I have been struggling over a query in Access 2007.  The query I am trying to run would list the applications and only those functions selected using the contained function.

I have used LIKE and IN but it will only list one function.

For example, Function Allowed LIKE "E" OR "L" OR "P" or "S" this will only bring up S

Function Allowed IN ("E" OR "L" OR "P" or "S") again will only bring up S

What I would like do, for example and if possible, is to query all APPSX with functions A C D H

I have attached an example spreadsheet I have been using in Access.
