I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Those accounts are in the PM00200 table, stored as the account indexes. For example, the  Accounts Payable account index is PMAPINDX and the rest of the account indexes are in the 13 columns following it.

Thanks.. How could I delete any default accounts so that the system default accounts will always to used?  Is there a SQL statement I can run?

Make sure you have a backup first...

Let's say you wanted to clear the Accounts Payable account (PMAPINDX) for all vendors, you can use the following:

update PM00200
set PMAPINDX = 0

To update both the AP account and the Purchases account for all vendors, you can add it with a comma, like this:

update PM00200
set PMAPINDX = 0,

And so on.

You might also want to confirm that table PM00203 does not have any records with Default_On_Trx = 1. Those will default in for the PURCH distributions even if the PMPRCHIX in table PM00200 is 0.
