Salesforce Outlook plugin and Terminal Server
Good Afternoon,
Our Marketing Dept uses Salesforce and they want to roll it out to more users. A few of the users they want to roll it out to use Terminal Server and from what I see, Salesforce does not support the outlook plugin using TS.
I found a site called LinkPro360 but i am not sure if that gives all the functionality that the salesforce plugin does.
Has anyone found a workaround with the salesforce plugin and TS?

change those users from server terminal services to a session based service using user personal didsks or a per user virtual machine

I'm not sure I get what you mean. We are running on 2008 R2. We tried running VDI with Horizon View, but the cost and resources is way to much.
you have to implement VDI either with user personal machines, or one machine using user personal disks. Yes it will use a lot more resources than session based remote desktop but if you want a supported by salesforce and outlook option that is what you need.

Our users tested out the linkpoint360 SF plugin and it works great with terminal server. It's pricey but they want it.
Just for others it is Link Point Pro 360 Email 2 CRM Integration
