"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If I understand what you are trying to do;

You would add workflow logic as follows:

If Status = Engaged and Flag=False
then Set Flag to True
then Pause until Variable:Reminder
then Send non urgent email to Support_email, dispay TroubleTicketSupport as sender.

List fields:
Status
Flag (True/False) default value: False

WorkFlow Variable:
Reminder (date/time) = Now()+2 days

So in the example you provided. A user would submit a ticket on May 10.
You accept Ticket (Engaged) on May 11th. Workflow fires when Status changed
to Engaged. Checks if Status is Engaged and Flag is false.  Then Changes Flag
to True (so that only one reminder is sent) and pauses for 2 days (May 13).  After
2 days an email reminder is sent.
