Is it possible to upgrade 32-bit ASA 5510 to v9.3 software release?

Hello folks,

I am republishing this question and making it more specific to get a better response.

Is it possible to install the latest software release from Cisco (v 9.3) on a 32-bit ASA 5510?

Rackspace suggests Cisco only released a 64-bit version of software v9.3 and it is not compatible with our hardware firewall which is 32-bit.

Our firewall is currently at v9.1 and also functioning as a SSL VPN gateway and is prone to TLS POODLE vulnerability. Appreciate any inputs...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

table 2 in the following official link says NO ...

although it might work, i'd recommend replace asa5510 at leat with a 5512-X

hope this helps

Yes it does say No ... well it's a shame Cisco didn't release it for the now so-called legacy hardware :(
