How to disable 'Require that all senders are authenticated' checkbox for ALL distribution groups in Exchange 2010

hi guys

We have distribution groups set up on Exchange 2010. When people email the email addresses from exterally, there are bounce backs due to a checkbox in their properties which says 'Require that all senders are authenticated'. I wanted this check box unchecked for ALL the existing distribution groups.

Is there a way of doing this via shell commands? Any help would be great.

I believe the powershell command below will do what you need if you are really wanting to allow it on all distribution groups.

Get-DistributionGroup | where {$_.RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled -eq $True} | Set-DistributionGroup -RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled $False

Second that Rodney is correct. Just ran into this issue myself as my ORG is going to Office 365 and we haven't setup the send and receive connectors.
