Set Owner of Multiple Distribution Groups in Exchange 2010

Hi,  I have Exchange 2010 environment. I have pulled the list of all Distribution Groups in my environment in a .csv file which are around a thousand.

I have to give owner permissions to two users on these Distribution List without impacting the access of current owner.

is there any way to do it in one go for all Distribution Groups?

Thanks....

Are you looking to add or replace the owner of the group?

I am looking to add the owner.

Not as straight forward as it may seem.
You have to get the current owner, then replace the list with the existing owner and the new owners.

You will need to adapt the following script to pull the information from a CSV file.

Simon thanks for your response.
in my requirement it does not matter if user is displayed in Owner field of group in outlook address book or Exchange side. giving the full permissions from security tab would also work and if possible I want this be done automatically for newly created groups as well
. is this possible?

or if there is Exchange management role I can make that user member of and he can modify any group? But I want user to manager to manage the group using Outlook only not from ECP.

Newly created groups is more difficult.
The only way you could do that would be to have all of the groups in the same OU, then set the permissions on the OU rather than on the group itself.
Whether that will allow changes from Outlook though, is a different matter. The permissions on the OU method isn't something I have tested through Outlook.
