Bitlocker enough or SGE or both

I've been hearing that with Bitlocker that there are ways around it such as freezing the memory while in sleep mode.  But the bigger question is Bitlocker enough at this point in time?  I'm looking to roll it out at a client site (200 users) and want to see what people think.  TIA

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Like anything, it depends on your requirements (dual sign-on requirements, pin requirements, password replication, named users, etc).  If we're talking run-of-the-mill 200 computer shop, all running Windows 7 or greater, than Bitlocker is enough from an encryption standpoint.  If you have MacOS encryption, Linux Encryption, requirements around self-encrypting disks, mobile device encryption, etc., then start expanding your search.  If you have access to a software assurance agreement with Microsoft, I'd also recommend looking into Microsoft Bitlocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM) which allows for management and reporting on those clients, and even includes a self-service solution for unlocking systems that get locked out.
