Broadband Back Up a solution

I am continually getting frustrated with broadband suppliers and their regular faults. I am currently away from home and I need to login remotely to control security devices, etc. but can't do this now due to a broadband fault.

I am looking with some sort of cost effective broadband back up for my home. Something that will automatically take over when my broadband goes down. It's not an issue with my system internally.

Is there some sort of cellular device that I can add on to my router to take over if required? I would need it to broadcast out the same wifi network name and password to various wifi devices.

Any help appreciated.

I have had great luck with devices from Cradlepoint that rely on Verizon Wireless. One example is using Cradlepoint WiPipe CBA 750 V2 as a base module with Cradlepoint MC200LE USB Wifi Module as the communication to the mobile data link via 4G. I have that connected to a TPLink TL-ER6020 Safestream Gigabit Dual-WAN VPN Router in failover mode, so that the connection runs normally on my local wired service (DSL, cable modem, fiber, etc.) unless there is no connection, at which time if fails over to the backup connection via mobile data carrier. Give your local cell carrier a call and ask them about this method to see if it's available in your area. Or you could simply use a dual-WAN router (as above) with two different local broadband carriers.
