HP Laserjet 200 M276nw can't scan to Network folder on Yosemite

Since upgrading our server the Scan to Network Folder doesn't work. It just gives a Username and Password error. I can connect to that path with a SMB://Network-Folder/Scans link and it accepts the Un and Pw.

If I connect it to the old server (Snow Leopard) it works again. Is there a smb version problem.

I have upgraded the the latest Firmware on the printer Feb 2015.

Many thanks.

Are you certain you use the correct username and password for the new server? Also, does Everyone have write permissions to the scan folder? Can you create a file in the folder from a PC/Mac?

Yes I have tested permissions and even created a user called scan password scan. Could it be a different Samba version?
Different Samba versions should not require different usernames & passwords.

We un shared everything then re-shared and it fixed it. Not sure why.
