Convert any video format to a dvd SO I can play it on a dvd player

Good Morning Everyone, I need a software that I can convert any video format like .AVI, .MOV etc to a DVD so I can play it on my DVD player like a regular dvd player. I am looking for a safe software free of Malware of virus and easy to use . I am willing to pay 20 or 30 bucks for it. Can you please be kind enough to recommend one for me.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

ConvertX2DVD is an older program that used to work well. Have not used the latest version.

It's a bit over your budget, but it's very easy to use. Download a free trial and see if you like it.

I have made regular DVDs using Windows Live Moviemaker.

Make sure to select the version corresponding to your version of Windows...

Thank you all. I will try it. My biggest concern was malware and virus that comes in with freeware. Let me try this. Thank you all.

You get NO crapware from Microsoft...

With Freemake, you have to be careful that you uncheck all the little boxes beside the the small print.
