Buffalo 7120r Enterprise - Good for vMWare replication?

Hello,

We're looking at purchasing a cheap device that will act as a replication repository for a small vMWare environment that is currently using a Dell PS6110.

Does anyone have any experience with the Buffalo 7120r Enterprise and/or know how much throughput/IOPS we'll get from the device if it is connected via iSCSI to our vMWare environment? Any other recommendations?

Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Pretty good specs - but i think that it is only sata II not Sata III controller - worth the money

Have a look on that
