How to run privileged software in terminal server

We have a terminal server which installs accounting software and allow user to login by remote desktop and run software from server.

According to company policy, user cannot have administrator privileged. However, the accounting software will ask for administrator username and password when it is starting up.

Is there any way to allow user to run this software without giving them local administrator privileged?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is the mark of a poorly written program. You have to first check with the manufacturer to see if they have any updates that don't have this issue. Check the Active Compatibility Toolkit and run through the various test routines i.e. standard user compatibility and you may be able to create a shim so a standard user can execute this program
