MMC Active Directory - Access Denied

HI All,

There are a few helpdesk staff when they try and open active directory via mmc it says access denied, however when they log in remotely to a domain controller they are able to browse the active directory fine.

any one know how I may resolve this problem, I have recreated their profiles and this did not help.

You need to make sure that the permissions are correct. What permissions do these users have access to? Take a look at the following PAQ regarding the same issue. Access Denied is 99.9% of the time a permissions issue.
