Folder permissions

Hi Guys

We have a finance folder with 3 users having full permissions, no other users have access to it, even administrators.

Whats best way to add administrators group to it? as its giving access denied?

do i need to inherit full permissions as admin then re-apply permissions? or is there a easier way?

you have to reset the permissions to the folder even if you are on the administrator account itself.
If your network in domain then i think using AD is the easiest.

In other words, Alexios means the admin must first take ownership of the folder.
After you take ownership (as mentioned above)  you can apply administrator rights to it and have them checked to reapply the permissions to the child objects.
