Log Viewer which will group like entries

I am trying to locate a Windows log viewer which will load the .log into memory, sort each line, and group like entries before presentation. I am using Suricata IPS and the fast.log file is generating 80+GB overnight. I can't view each of the millions of lines to see where my network vulnerabilities exist.

Is anyone aware of a log viewer which can perform this function?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

WinTail looks useful for large files to read just the last 64kb of it, but its not exactly doing what I had hoped. I'm dealing with 80GB IDS/IPS log files which are recording both dropped connections due to policy and potentially hazardous connections which are not blocked by ruleset. There are so many that I cannot go through each line.

I was hoping to find a log viewer which would compute the amount of lines which repeat throughout the log. For instance, if the --> appeared 500 times throughout the log, the viewer would just list the entry as (500) -->, instead of each individual line.

I haven't tried this tool so don't know how well it works for an 80+ gb file. Still, seems to have the grouping option you'd like:
