ssrs report error on dataset filter. "cannot compare data of types system.int32 and System.String"

I am creating a filter and get the error "cannot compare data of types system.int32 and System.String"

I have attached the filter expression to this message. (filter.jpg)

In the database ActorID is an int but when i save the filter it switches to text as you can see in the screenshot.

Any reason why this would be happening?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What data type is @prActorNames?  The 'Names' implies text, hence the error message.
