Retrieving Data from Child Table

Hi Experts,

I have the following 2 table structures:

Deliveries
date
pickup_location
dropoff_location

Both locations are ints related to the following table

Location
id
name

Now, my question is how can I get the date, pickup location id, pickup location name, dropoff id and dropoff name within 1 query?

Thank you

Assuming the pickup_location and dropoff_location are id's that tie into the Location table, you would query as follows:
SELECT d.date,
        d.pickup_location,
        t1.name AS pickup_location_name,
        d.dropoff_location,
        t2.name AS dropoff_location_name
FROM Deliveries d
LEFT JOIN Location t1 ON t1.id = d.pickup_location
LEFT JOIN Location t2 ON t2.id = d.dropoff_location

I used left joins just in case that location doesn't exist in the location table. If you know it always will, you can change the LEFT JOIN to INNER JOIN.
