Flexslider not displaying images on Mobile Phone

Dear Experts

We are using flexslider on a responsive website we are creating:

See desktop version - http://dev.cross-keys-hotel.co.uk/index.asp

The flexslider appears to be working fine on desktop and also Ipad - however it fails to load the images when viewing on a iPhone or similar screen size  (see attached example image from iPhone)

I wondered if anyone could offer some advice as to what I need to do to fix this?

I also attach two CSS files that are being used (flexslider.css and revolution-slider.css) - I guess the answer is somewhere within the CSS files.

Many thanks for any help

In bootstrap.min.css there is this rule:

@media (max-width: 767px)
.hidden-xs {
  display: none!important;

wich overrides your rule in essentials.css

.img-responsive {
  display: inline-block;

You have to overwrite it in your essentials.css:

@media (max-width: 767px)
.hidden-xs {
  display: inline-block!important;
