Issue Using RichCopy 4.0 - Creates Directory With Strange Characters

We currently use RichCopy 4.0 to copy folders from a LaCie NAS device to a specific directory on another device.  We have noticed on several occassions that RC 4.0 seems to create the SSRBackup folder we have designated in our RC script with some strange characters.  Today we saw our copy jobs appear in the designated directory called SSRBkup with a dangling "tail" on the letter K (see screenshot).  Server is Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard and is connected to the LaCie NAS as a mapped drive.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Developmemt on richcopy stopped some years ago. It hasn't been updated to handle mew MTFS attributes, and has always been quirky with Linux based NAS boxes. I don't think you'll find a fix except to stop using richcopy.
