Multiple users able to (simultaniously) answer incoming calls
Hi Experts, I just need to know if this is even possible...
When a call comes in, it rings "Line 1" on multiple 79xx phones, or "Line 2", etc. Let's say a person answers and starts talking to the caller. As you would expect, "Line 1" turns green on their phone and red on the remaining phones. Is it possible to have another user hit their red "Line 1" button and be conferenced in, so to speak, much like a (literal) extension on someone's old home phone?

Each phone has its own IP address, which is their unique "phone number", and the calls are made to the IP address of the unique phone. In your analogy of "old" home phone, it would be more like your neighbor gets a call to their phone number and you pick up your phone and are part of their conversation. It doesn't work that way.
Not sure what you meant by "old", since the majority of the world still uses POTS, in fact the majority of business phones are still POTS and PBX.
