Entering hundreds of hours as hours.
hi Folks
I'd like help with the following...I've attached the file
I want to enter the total number of hours used on a part e.g. 722.21 (722 hours, 21 minutes). However when I try to enter this into Component Hours starting I get 02:21:00
. Essentially I need to enter a formula that adds Component hours starting plus Hours used to date (that is using a sumifs formula to accumulate from another sheet - which is working fine) and subtracts this total from Life Limit (hours) so I end up with the amount of hours left . This also needs to be shown in hours.
