Linkedin

Is there a way to store a document on Linked in for others to download, and if so how would I do that?

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It is possible to provide a link to documents (not resumes) on your LinkedIn profile, thanks to their partnership with Box.

You'll nee a Box account
1. Head to https://www.box.com/ and sign up (a free account will work just fine)
2. Complete the registration following their simple steps

Attach your files to LinkedIn
1. Visit the official Box applications site to download their LinkedIn app - https://app.box.com/services/linkedin
2. Follow their instructions and you will be able to link the two and start uploading
3. When you view your LinkeIn profile, you will now see an additional box which displays your Box documents for others to view!

Here is the official LinkedIn blog post announcing the parntership: http://blog.linkedin.com/2009/12/08/linkedin-box-net/

UPDATE: looks like LinkedIn consolidated/removed almost all of their application integrations (https://help.linkedin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/34326)
