I have a user that would like anytime she forwards a meeting request the the owner if external from our email system does not receive the forward notification. Can this be set in o365?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you mean the "Your meeting was forwarded" messages, those can be disabled by running:

Set-CalendarProcessing user@domain.com -RemoveForwardedMeetingNotifications $true

This doesnt differentiate between internal/external however.

I have a user that said it worked at one time on exchange 2007 but stopped, then she was moved to o365.

I guess she wants to stop sending notifications to external users.

Microsoft supplied a registry setting for disabling external forwarding notification while allowing internal forwarding notifications to work.
