Is there a way to delete a SharePoint 2010 site and all subsite at once?

I have a SharePoint 2010 deployment that only has a single site collection (yes, I know bad architecture).
I need to remove a site that contains many sub sites.  I know that I can remove them one at a time, but
I would like to know if there is a way to remove them all at once.

For Example:

Site Collection\
Site Collection\Site1\
Site Collection\Site2\
Site Collection\Site2\Site2a\
Site Collection\Site2\Site2b\
Site Collection\Site2\Site2b\Site2b1
Site Collection\Site2\Site2b\Site2b2
Site Collection\Site2\Site2b\Site2b3
Site Collection\Site2\Site2b\Site2b3\site2b3a

In the above simplified example, I would want to remove Site2b (line 5) and all sub sites with a single action.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

should be as simple as opening the site (site2) in the browser, open site settings and click on "Delete this site". This will remove subsites as well.

Unfortunately, that method does not work for me.  I was able to get it to work if I deleted all sub sites first ( a very time consumming process).

This worked for me:

■Site Actions -> Site Settings
 ■Site Administration: Content and Structure
 ■In the left column, move to the parent of the main site to be deleted
 ■In the right column, choose the site to be deleted (YourSite in our example)
 ■Menu: Actions -> Delete
 ■Deleting the selected sites will permanently delete all content and user information. All subsites in this site will also be permanently lost. Do you want to continue?: OK
