EE being blocked when trying to access MyMonitored or profile

Hello Experts,

I have lately having this Norton pop up blocking EE pretending EE is unsafe. please see the attached pic. Any idea why or what setting need to be done I am active since 2009 and never got such popups only lately since beg this year.

I use Symantec Endpoint Protection (newest version) and do not get blocked.

Go to Norton, Exceptions (and possibly cookies) and add www.experts-exchange.com as an exception. That should work.

ok and in IE you can put maybe www.experts-exchange.com as a trusted site and then I guess will not get this popup that that is not a solution for me.

The question is: WHY do I get this pop-up ? is there a duplicate malware site that intervene why I access EE ?? or ... ?? this is why I asked this question. Its like if your arm hurt you go to the doctor and he tells u take advil or panadol but never tells u why your arm hurts this wont fix the problem !

EE does not cause malware pop-ups and no intervening site does either to the best of my knowledge. EE has the odd pop-up but NOT a suspicious activity pop-up. So it is not an EE issue and you should be able to allow the site either by Norton or by IE trusted sites.

Watch and see what address is causing the pop up.

I just went to the link above and (a) it is a legitimate link and (b) it did not cause a pop up or blockage. It works fine.

So either:

1. Allow EE in Norton and IE and then just move on.  OR
2. Already your machine has a virus or other malware. Scan with your own Anti Virus software and then with Malwarebytes.

I have Symantec Endpoint Protection.   Try this for Norton.

Go to Change Settings or some like menu and then from there, go to Exceptions. Look in the Norton Help documentation for Exceptions. The settings you need are there.

For sure the link works it is sometimes I get this. If you notice on the picture I uploaded that shows the warning blocking if you look up on the Norton Toolbar it says a tick on This page is Secure.

I went to Settings and have couple of tabs

Norton
I opened the most obvious but can see any setting here for any exception.

Well I went to Norton forum and seems lots of people suffer what I went thru ... and one of the suggestions was to flush the Logs in the History under Identity (luckily the guy who had the problem had 10 pages of logs and happens that I have the same number) So I flushed it

... will see if this will solve it. It is so intermittent that it may comeback in 2 months as last time was some over 1 month ago.

Tks your help. The Help guided me to Norton Forums where I found similar issues and got my possible solution. Most importantly is that it is a False Positive warning.
